  Police and Sawang Boriboon were called out to Pattaya Beach Road on the afternoon of the 28th October to investigate an assault on a foreign tourist.

  There at the peaceful Lovely Corner Bar on Soi 7, they met up with a drunken tourist who did not wish to give his name. He had a gash to his head so was given treatment by the paramedics. There were signs that a brawl had taken place at the bar with broken glass bottles on the floor. Apparently, according to the bar cashier, the man was very drunk and when he went to pay the bill, for no reason he hit her. In so doing, he slipped to the ground and somehow a beer bottle landed on his head.

  Ach, de goede man zal zich toch niets van herinneren als hij weer nuchter is.
